Australia loves its disco, and The Village People had one of the sets of the festival when they played Golden Plains back in 2015. Now, they’re heading back for another beloved festival in A Day on the Green, and bringing some more disco icons with them.

U.S. legends KC & the Sunshine Band and Sister Sledge will be joined by local icon Marcia Hines for the run of shows in December across Perth, McLaren Vale, Yarra Valley, Hunter Valley, and Mt Cotton.

Plus, everyone but Marcia will also be playing a handful of gigs as a trio in Melbourne and Sydney, so everyone wins.

Most excitingly for The Village People is that they’ve had a slight lineup change since their last visit, with their original cop/lead singer Victor Willis returning for his first gig with the band in decades.

Tickets for the A Day on the Green dates are on sale 10am Monday August 7, with tickets to the headline sideshows up at 2pm – find out more at the website.
