Bill Murray has become suddenly very musical in his older years, with the comedic legend announcing a new album New Worlds that will see him playing a selection of classics, as well as reciting spoken-word passages from famous authors over a musical ensemble.

As Consequence of Sound reports, the beloved Murray showed up at the Dresden Music Festival in Germany on Sunday for his first concert debut, playing music from the album and a cover of Van Morrison’s ‘When Will I Ever Learn To Live In God?’.

Fan-shot footage has emerged of the gig, which sees Bill donning a sharp tux and tossing flowers into the crowd, lapping up his first live appearance ahead of a full tour later this year. The album, meanwhile, will be out in December.
