If DMA’s haven’t been responding to your texts lately, it’s because they’ve been kind of busy. With the release of their long-awaited debut album, Hills End, last month, they’re one of the most in-demand bands in Australia right now.

It’s hard to believe it’s only been two years since the Newtown three-piece dropped their acclaimed debut single, ‘Delete’, which took the band from complete unknowns to one of the most buzzed-about bands in Australia (though they say that’s not all its cracked up to be).

The band recently performed that very single to millions on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. As one of the top-rated late night talk shows in America (Colbert averages some 3.1 million viewers each night) so that’s quite a profile boost.

The boys appeared alongside Star Wars director JJ Abrams and Academy Award winner Helen Mirren on last night’s episode of The Late Show, which not too long ago saw an excellent performance from DMA’s Aussie brethren Tame Impala.

You can check out the performance of ‘Delete’ below and if you’re not yet sick of seeing DMA’s take over your tube, they’ll be programming the ABC’s rage this weekend and as we previously noted, they’ve got quite a unique playlist lined up.

Oh, and before you ask, yes, all the Americans watching on YouTube are already wondering if they’re British.
