Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder teamed up with Coldplay’s Chris Martin over the weekend to perform a three-song set as part of Global Citizen Festival, a charity concert in New York’s Central Park that aims to eliminate global poverty.

In addition to a rendition of the timeless Pearl Jam ballad ‘Nothingman’, the set also included a cover of the equally classic ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ by our (and New Zealand’s) very own Crowded House, which will absolutely take your breath away.

The duo also performed a cover of ‘People Have The Power’ by the iconic Patti Smith, who will soon be touching down in Australia to appear at Byron Bay Bluesfest and a series of headline shows. Smith and her band will perform her classic album Horses in full.

Meanwhile, Crowded House recently announced they would be getting the band back together to celebrate 20 years since their iconic Sydney Opera House farewell concert. You can check out footage of Vedder and Martin performing ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ below.
