Talk to any drummer for more than 10 minutes, and the name of Neil Peart will come up.
The Rush drummer is seen as one of those touchstones for flair, skill and timing – likewise, Rush’s singer Geddy Lee always gets a mention when it comes to vocal range, finesse and talent.
The name we should be tossing around is that of Dominic Fragman, who has posted a video of him taking on guitars, vocals and drums for Rush’s ‘Tom Sawyer’ simultaneously.
His Facebook page sells him as “a unique and exciting solo artist who performs original material through singing, playing guitar and drumming all at the same time. All Live. No Looping. Fragman has an innovative approach to the one man band concept. The Solo Trio.”
