As Metallica continue to tour and promote their recent album Hardwired… To Self Destruct, they have released hi-res footage of their 1991 classic ‘Enter Sandman’ performed live last month.

The footage was taken from a February 12 show at the Palladium in Los Angeles, just hours after sound issues plagued their Grammys performance with Lady Gaga.

“Why should the fun end after the cameras stop rolling?!!”, the band announced online before both performances. “As soon as the awards show is over, we’re going to shoot over to the iconic Hollywood Palladium to hit the stage one more time that evening as part of the Citi Sound Vault live music series.”

The show was, as the name suggests, a promotional show for Citi card members. Check out the crystal-clear quality, below.
