YouTube genius Rob Scallon is making the most of the world’s twin fascination with puns and crushing rock music, kicking off his month of ‘Maytallica’ videos with an unusual take on Metallica classic ‘For Whom the Bell Tolls’, in which he only tolls bells.
It’s a ringing version of the track, and thankfully doesn’t last the five minutes of the original. He plans to tackle ‘Iron May-den’ and ‘System of May Down’, at which point we’ll be over the puns but still keen to hear novelty renditions of classic metal beasts. Time marches on.
