Terrence Malik’s new film Song to Song has been in the works since 2011, and is centred around the thriving music scene in Austin, Texas.
Part of it were filmed over the years at SXSW, with musical appearances from Iggy Pop, Florence Welch, Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, RHCP, and many others.
A new clip shows Ryan Gosling and Lykke Li lazily covering Bob Marley’s ‘It Hurts To Be Alone’; the singer plays Gosling’s ex-lover in the film.
Michael Fassbender, Rooney Mara and Natalie Portman all star alongside Gosling in the film – released in the U.S tomorrow. Check out the scene, below.
