It was just a few days ago that we were celebrating Tame Impala playing the dreamscape anthem ‘Love/Paranoia’ live for the first time at Panorama Festival in NYC, and now they’ve gone one better and played it live for the world, pulling it out as the closing song on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
It’s a nice upgrade for those of us watching from home, as we can swap out the grainy (and since-deleted) live crowd video for this crisp TV production, which sounds just divine.
The only problem is that Aussie fans will probably be hoping to see something just as special the next time Kevin & Co. play for us, so maybe it’s time for them to start brushing up on some other under-played gems.
