Blondie have released a video clip for their new Record Store Day single, the bouncy ‘Long Time’.

The single is the latest from the legendary group’s forthcoming album Pollinator, to be released on May 5.

‘Long Time’ was written with Dev Hynes, and is basically a rewrite of their 1979 classic ‘Heart Of Glass’. The similarities were supposedly intentional; the song “channels a deliberate echo” according to the official press release, and we can’t imagine the resemblance escaped a band who have had to perform that song at every single show for close to forty years.

Pollinator will also feature the likes of Joan Jett, Johnny Marr, Nick Valensi from The Strokes and Sia. As for the RSD single, it will be limited to 750 copies, so it’ll be tricky to get your hands on a copy – happy hunting.
