They are all confirmed and playing the 2010 Download festival. At Tone Deaf we can only say ‘fuck yeah’.

Download Festival is a three day rock music festival held annually at Donington Park, England It takes place at the end of spring, and is now owned and managed by the one and only Live Nation and a probably has one of the best festival lineups of 2010.

The announcement of Aerosmith been a massive surprise since Joe Perry has been outwardly talking about replacing frontman Steven Tyler in Aerosmith, but this obviously looks like the relationship has been mended.

Rage Against The Machine ,who’s Killing In The Name topped the UK charts after a Facebook led campaign to keep the X Factor winner Joe McElderry off the top , will play a free gig on Sunday 6th June at Finsbury Park in North London  to say thankyou to fans. The allocation for that gig is now exhausted, but they will now extend the tour for several dates around Europe including Download.

The massive line-up which grows bigger everyday is now:

ACDC, Rage Against The Machine, Aerosmith, Them Crooked Vultures, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots, Bullet For My Valentine, Megadeth, Motorhead, Wolfmother & Volbeat
