So who better to tackle one of reddit’s infamous AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions than Mrs. Allen?
Following on from gripes that pop stars these days don’t make the big bucks they used to and ahead of her forthcoming Australian visit as part of Splendour In The Grass 2014, Lily took to reddit yesterday to discuss her new album, Sheezus, and its Kanye West-baiting title.
Following in the vein of similarly revealing AMA sessions with Damon Albarn and Trent Reznor, the 29-year-old singer opened up about a variety of personal topics, including her own brother Alfie Allen, the subject of her 2006 breakout single ‘Alfie’ as well current star of Game Of Thrones, in which he plays Theon Greyjoy.
In fact, Allen reveals how she turned down the part of Greyjoy’s sister on the popular HBO series because of the NSFW relationship between the two characters.
