You Am I are undoubtedly one of the quintessential Aussie rock bands. With Tim Rogers’ trademark swagger, and his undeniable penchant for writing some of the most brilliant songs we’ve ever heard, the band are living legends, and now they’re giving you the chance to own a piece of history.

Following on from the news that Tim Rogers is joining Double J next year as a weekly presenter, the band have made two huge announcements today, both of which give you the chance to add something of theirs to your collection.

Most notably, You Am I have announced that they’re set to give fans the best kind of Christmas present – a new live album. Recorded during the brilliant shows that the band did with Hoodoo Gurus, Jebediah and Adalita of Magic Dirt for the Fist Full Of Rock tour earlier this yearAll Onboard is a 16-track collection that captures You Am I doing what they do best – rocking out like there’s no tomorrow. The album drops on December 25th, and is available for pre-order now.

To celebrate this news, You Am I have decided to offload a little bit of the gear that they used during the recording of the record. Following in the footsteps of musical luminaries such as Billy Corgan and Noel Gallagher, the band are offloading a bunch of pedals, guitars, and “some really beautiful bits of kit that [they] don’t really use anymore”.

The band’s gear hits eBay at 7:30pm on December 11th, and will be available for bidding until it all ends on December 20th. So if you’re keen on owning some pieces of musical memorabilia that were previously in the possession of some of Ausralia’s finest musos, this is your best bet.
