With this year showing off its biggest lineup yet, the 2017 edition of Yours & Owls Festival is shaping up to be one of the year’s best – the only problem is, anyone under the age of 18 will have to miss out.

Well no, actually! As it turns out, organisers are also putting together a mini version of the event for anyone who’s just a little bit too young to attend the over-18s bash, and they’ve brought a fair chunk of the artists from the main lineup on board.

While international headliners like At The Drive-In won’t be at this smaller affair, there’ll still be sets from plenty of big names including Safia, The Preatures, Trophy Eyes, Alex Lahey, Bec Sandridge, Ruby Fields and The Pinheads.

That’s a pretty damn good selection of bands for gig-starved under-agers, we must say – and of course the event is drug and alcohol free.

It all kicks off at Waves in Wollongong on September 30 from 11am onwards, with tickets on sale from this Friday June 2. For older family members, second release tix for the 18+ version have also been made available, and are on sale now.
