Australian rapper 360 knows a thing or two about addiction. He’s battled his own addictions and been open about his demons, he’s launched his own non-profit to help people struggling with their own addictions, and he plays a drug addict in the new film Is This The Real World.

Sixty, real name Matt Colwell, recently made an appearance on the Stav, Abby & Osher show on Hit105 to promote the film and the conversation soon turned to the topic of Sixty’s famous viral video in which he revealed his struggles with addiction to over-the-counter codeine meds.

It was at this point that host Abby Coleman revealed her own struggles with addiction to prescription medication and struggled to hide her emotion as she discussed the subject with Colwell, who was quick to remind her that she’s far from alone in that regard.

It’s not the first time Colwell has brought a radio host to tears. When discussing how he helped bring a fan back from the brink of suicide with Ella Hooper and Ben Wasley back in 2014, Colwell himself struggled to maintain his composure as he recounted the touching story.
