We’ll often give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to ‘accidental’ copies of an artist’s track, but in this case we can get behind Kevin Parker when he threatens to lawyer up over a blatant bootleg of massive Tame Impala hit ‘The Less I Know The Better’.

As Music Feeds reports, Parker posted the knock-off on Instagram today, complete with its twangy guitar line and only slightly-changed vocal melodies – along with a stern message.

“I mean COME ON guys at least put some effort in,” he wrote, before tagging in his label and threatening a lawsuit via hashtag.

The dodgy cover version seems to be flogging some sort of blueberry-flavoured milk in a lovely shade of purple and, aside from the main issue of the track being outright nicked, we’re sure it just pains Kev to hear his work butchered like this.

Give them both a listen below, and see if you can pick out the similarities – or rather, any differences at all.
