Following on from a series of sold-out national shows earlier this year, Paul Kelly, one of Australia’s most treasured singers and songwriters, will be bringing his Merri Soul Sessions to wineries around the country as part of A Day On The Green.
A concert experience and unique and exceptionable as this needs company of the highest order, and A Day On The Green organisers have provided. The tour will feature a very special guest in the form of Lucinda Williams, returning to Australia for the first time since 2012.
There’ll be other special guests kicking about as well, including homegrown, ARIA Award-winning country favourite Kasey Chambers as well as talented young troubadour Marlon Williams, making this instalment of A Day On The Green one of the “must-see” bills of the year.
Oh, and don’t forget the usual cast of Merri Soul Sessions characters, including Dan Sultan, Clairy Browne, Kira Puru, Vika Bull, and Linda Bull. All six vocalists perform songs from the album Paul Kelly Presents The Merri Soul Sessions, along with a dose of Paul Kelly hits.
