Adelaide welcomed a new venue over the weekend, with Big Window officially opening its doors.

Following from last year’s news that Adelaide was now a UNESCO recognised city of music, the city has delivered music fans with another music venue on the weekend.

Big Window, owned and operated by Matthew Khabbhaz (best known as producer Tigerilla and for being Allday’s housemate), is promising to be one of Adelaide’s leading proponents of house, disco and hip-hop.

As The Music reports, the new 100-capacity Hindley Street address was opened on Saturday night, with an event hosted by US DJ Darshan Jesrani. A frequent visitor the US and Europe, Khabbhaz and his business partner Paul Glens are planning to curate events at the venue based upon trends they see emerging overseas.

The venue is also specifically catering to musicians, with Big Window boasting a recording studio with plans to encourage touring bands to record onsite, so be sure to to check out the Big Window website.

Tigerilla has definitely been keeping busy, as he’s also just dropped his new track ‘TULIPS’ ft. Gill Bates.
