A video originally posted to US soul and blues singer Allen Stone‘s Facebook shows the moment he proposed to his girlfriend and it’s so cute. I hate to admit this because I don’t believe in love, but the video is kind of beautiful. Right down to the dog running in at the end to cuddle, it’s got everything you want in an engagement video.

The artist is heading to Melbourne in September for a show and plans to marry his Australian fiancé while he’s out here. This is the woman who inspired his recent single “Brown Eyed Lover”, and listening to it makes me jealous I am not her.

In a recent chat to The Brag, Stone discussed the recording process of his next album, “I performed this new record with my full band. This is the first time that we all got in the studio together, about 16 or 17 songs in Nashville”. “It’s human, it’s got a pulse. There’s real electricity to it, and I feel it really connects.” He concluded.

From that and the most recent single “Warriors“, it looks like the new album is going to be a good one. No release date has been set though, so we might have to wait a bit longer.

Hopefully we might have it by the time he touches down in Melbourne for his show and wedding. But if not it’s fine. Who can be mad at someone with the most adorable engagement video featuring a happy doggo?
