Alt-J and The Shins lead the lineup for Australia’s newest music festival

Australia has received a brand new music festival, with Alt-J, The Shins, Warpaint, and more set to hit up Fidelity Festival this December.

If there’s one thing Aussies love, it has to be music festivals. What better way to soak in a day of music than by heading along to an awesome location with thousands of like-minded individuals to chill out, listen to good tunes, and just have the time of your life. Well, now Western Australians are being given one extra opportunity to do that this summer, with a lineup that will make the rest of the country jealous.

Announced today, Fidelity Festival is set to take over Perth’s Wellington Square on December 2nd for a brilliant day of awesome music, creative arts, and delicious food.

Of course, you’re probably just wanting to hear the lineup, right? Well, leading the bill is Alt-J, who are also bringing along Warpaint, the supports for their upcoming Aussie tour. Indie legends The Shins join the lineup, as does Cashmere Cat, Future Islands, Noname, and Ziggy Ramo.

All in all, it looks to be a pretty intimate affair that will undoubtedly deliver plenty of great tunes to an often-overlooked touring location for bands. There’s also set to be plenty of local artists at the festival, along with a brilliant lineup of eclectic food vendors as well.
