The folks at Victoria and Tasmania’s Falls Festivals have given us a taste of what we can expect in on the line up this New Years and we must say it’s pretty impressive. They’ve pulled out the big guns early with his one, because none other than the Arctic Monkeys are headlining! Touring on the back of their recently released album Suck It And See, they’ll join the massively popular Seattle band Fleet Foxes who are riding an even bigger wave of acclaim with their new album Helplessness Blues.

In addition, organisers have announced that Kiwi legend Tim Finn, of Split Enz and Crowded House fame, indie darlings The Jezabels, comedian Arj Barker and dubstep crew the Easy Star All Stars performing their take on the Pink Floyd classic, Dub Side of the Moon. That’s just a taste of what’s to come!
