If you weren’t too impressed by the news that Macklemore is to be performing at the NRL Grand Final this week, then you might want to tune into The Footy Show tomorrow night instead, for a steady night of rock music, including an appearance by a brand new Aussie supergroup.

Tomorrow night’s Grand Final edition of The Footy Show is set to contain a pretty huge lineup of musical talent, including Australia’s ownDelta Goodrem, US rockers Everclear performing their hit ‘Santa Monica’, and a new Aussie supergroup by the name of Easy-Fever.

Consisting of Grinspoon’s Phil Jamieson, Spiderbait’s Kram, and Tex Perkins of The Beasts Of Bourbon and The Cruel Sea, Easy-Fever is set to deliver a blistering set of Easybeats classics to pay tribute to the legendary Sydney group.

It’s all taking place at the ICC Sydney Theatre in Darling Harbour tomorrow night. Tickets to the event are still available, so if you’re keen on witnessing some of Aussie music’s biggest names performing a one-off special, then you might want to act fast.

If you’re wondering what it might sound like, well take a look back at The Wrights’ performance of The Easybeats’ member Stevie Wright’s ‘Evie’ below. Featuring Phil Jamieson on vocals and Kram on drums, just imagine Tex Perkins in the mix, and you’re all set.
