There’s been the run of brilliantly clever singles, the infectiously energetic live shows, and now Brisbane’s Ball Park Music are following up a run of singles and acclaimed live shows with a headline tour to announce the release of their debut album Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs.
Chalking up singles ‘iFly’, ‘Sad Rude Future Dude’, ‘Rich People Are Stupid’ and their most recent offering ‘It’s Nice To Be Alive’, Ball Park Music are stepping up to the plate with a virtually non-stop touring regime playing with the likes of Boy & Bear, Cloud Control, Hungry Kids of Hungary, Philadelphia Grand Jury, Eagle and The Worm and Big Scary; as well as pulling off well received sets at the Gold Coast Big Day Out, Falls Festival, Southbound, Sunset Sounds and Good Vibrations festivals. The band even took in a recent sojourn to Asia playing at Music Matters(Singapore) and the CAMA festival in Vietnam.
Ball Park Music have invited Melbourne six-piece psychedelic dance rockers Northeast Party House and emerging Brisbane indie pop/rock darlings The Jungle Giants.
