The Beatles catalogue is reissued this week in stereo and will be released on September 9. However Amazon.com have already sold out of the box sets of the 13 albums before the release date.

The stereo remasters add new punch and vigour to the songs and will provide another avenue for fans to explore the classics, already buttered up by the release of the sonically amazing ‘cut and paste’ record ‘Love’ two years ago.

A representative for EMI, which is issuing the box set, has stated an additional supply is being manufactured, lending hope to salivating Beatles fans.
