Beck has taken it upon himself to remix U2’s 2017 track ‘Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way’ off the album Songs Of Experience.

The 90s alternative legend has transformed the track from its typical U2-esque arena rocks stylings, fitting it with pulsating, ethereal synths and a danceable beat – check it out for yourself.

This isn’t the first time Beck has remixed a U2 track – to celebrate Record Store Day the muso remixed the Songs Of Experience track ‘Free Yourself’, which featured on a limited-edition picture-disc vinyl edition of Lights of Home. Songs Of Experience was U2’s 14th full-length effort and acted as a sequel to the band’s 2014 release Songs Of Innocence.

At the beginning of the year, Beck toured with U2 as the opening act for the band’s celebratory 30-year anniversary shows of their seminal 1987 album The Joshua Tree. Beck last released his 13th full-length effort Colours in October last year to widespread critical acclaim.

The video for U2’s ‘Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way’ features a focus on the youth of Ireland, expressing themselves and embracing their uniqueness despite society’s expectations.
