Beyoncé Giselle Knowles has got a bun in the oven! At the MTV Video Music Awards last night, she confirmed that she is preggers to media waiting by the red carpet.
Knowles has been married to hip hop superstar Jay-Z for the last three years and indeed she revealed to host Piers Morgan on his chat show back Piers Morgan Tonight in June that ‘she would have a baby at aged thirty’. Considering that next months she hits dirty thirty, it looks like she’s the poster child for careful family planning!
Clearly ‘Crazy In Love’ there is no word yet as to whether it might be a ‘Baby Boy’ or girl and she declined to give the date she’s expecting. A representative of her later confirmed her pregnancy in a statement to US Weekly.
Speaking of the father of her child, she said of Jay-Z, AKA Shawn Carter to his Mum when he’s in trouble with her is “He is amazing,” she gushed, telling the photographers furiously snapping her baby bump that he was a “good man.”
The former Destiny’s Child singer, who possesses a three octave voice wowed the crowds recently with a Sunday headline performance which was considered the highlight of Glastonbury – her energetic moves all the more amazing considering she was preggers.
