It looks like the Watch The Throne follow-up Kanye West tweeted about last month might not be happening after a source close to Beyoncé and Jay-Z revealed to RadarOnline that the couple have severed ties with West.

The source says the couple are “sick” of Kanye West’s “political bullshit.” The Carters were heavily involved in Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, performing at several rallies and urging their fans to vote for the democrat.

Their relationship with West has been tumultuous over the past few years. The rapper spoke about the couple during one of his MANY long rants during his 2016 Saint Pablo Tour, saying “Jay Z—call me, bruh. You still ain’t called me.” amongst the ten minute rant.

“They are outraged over Kanye’s recent political rants,” the source continued, saying they have severed ties with West as well as his wife Kim Kardashian. “They think Kanye is a disgrace and is only doing this for attention. Beyoncé and Jay-Z know that Kanye is seeing a future in politics, but they feel that they cannot associate themselves with them from this point forward. They want nothing to do with either one of them.”

Kanye West has been incredibly active in his support for Donald Trump, with his recent appearance on Saturday Night Live being marred by a speech about the president during the shows credits. SNL star Kenan Thompson said it felt like the audience had been “taken hostage”.

The Carters join a number of celebrities who are severing ties with West, such as Lana Del Rey. In a recent interview with the rapper, Jimmy Kimmel called West out on his support of trump and things became incredibly awkward.

West recently announced he will be changing his stage name to “Ye” ahead of the release of his new album Yhandi. In the past few months he has revealed on Twitter that he’s been working on several new projects. Ye is also tipped to be one of the 2019 Coachella headliners alongside Childish Gambino and Justin Timberlake.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have just finished their On The Run II World Tour which once again missed the majority of the world outside of Europe and the USA. Check out the video for their track “APESHIT” below.
