Rapper Big Boi has been thrown behind bars in Miami over the weekend after being arrested on drugs charges. Cops found him in possession of MDMA powder, ecstasy pills and … ahem, Viagra. Customs and border control sniffer dogs detected the substances as he left a cruise ship which was docking at the Florida city.

The rapper, real name Antwan Patton, was banged up by Miami-Dade County law enforcement officials on three counts of possessing a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Of most concern was the fact that he didn’t have a prescription for the Viagra. The charges he has been arrested on are all felonies, according to Miami-Dade County Corrections Department, which are classified as serious offences in the US and could see him serving jail time if convicted.

Although he has been released on $16,000 bail, it could seriously affect the Outkast member’s ability to enter Australia for his scheduled tour later this month.
