“Zakk Wylde,” reckons Revolver Magazine, is “one of the 100 greatest living rockstars.” [I’ve met him, it’s true – Ed] and the metal viking’s band Black Label Society has just been announced on one of the best lookin’ Soundwave Sidewaves shows yet.
A heavy metal immortal, Zakk Wylde has ridden the rock and roll rollercoaster having played alongside Ozzy Osbourne for more than 2 decades conquering the world’s biggest stages and releasing multi-platinum albums. He and the other Black Label Society champions will be joined by Hell Yeah, one of metal’s baddest group of outlaws; Blacktide, whose second album Post Mortem is apparently “ a slick distillation of every act between Iron Maiden and Avenged Sevenfold” and Holy Grail – heavy metal personified.
Tickets are on sale next Friday 20 January at 9am and the brutal lineup are only doing two hell fire sideshows.
