It may be 18 years on from the release of their career and genre defining party-pop punk album Enema Of The State but, it looks like blink-182 are still the main attraction when it comes to gathos, shindigs and soirees everywhere.

The pop punk pioneers were recently topped the bill at legendary DJ Steve Aoki’s 40th birthday celebrations. As a DJ, Aoki knows what it takes when it comes to throwing insane parties, so, getting the universally loved blink on board as a crowd pleaser is a no brainer.

Mark, Matt and Travis (still doesn’t quite have that same ring to it yet..) shacked up in the living room of Aoki’s cozy crib to throw down a very special acoustic performance of the ultimate birthday anthem ‘What’s My Age Again’.

Check it out below:

Ever the jokester, Mark changed the iconic ‘nobody likes you when you’re 23’ line to ‘nobody likes you when you’re 40, Steve’, which was met with some enthusiastic chuckles from the Instagram-story updating party guests.

Sources say T-Pain also entertained – we wonder whether he threw down an acoustic performance of ‘All I Do Is Win’?

Aoki is a collaborator and fan of the band (who isn’t), releasing a pretty divisive remix of their 2016 track ‘Bored To Death’ with a video that combined footage of both Aoki and blink’s energetic love shows.
