Brandon Flowers has taken to the stage during The Killers slot on KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas to indirectly shame Josh Homme’s already infamous kicking of a photographer whilst performing. The frontman invited concert photographer Rob Loud up on stage saying, “I’m not gonna kick you in the face, just come on up here.”

He further detailed, “I just wanna tell you to tell all your friends that you’re welcome here. And at any Killers concert, you’re safe and you’re respected.” What a stand up guy.

Flowers also highlighted the imperative role photographers play in the inner workings of the industry, “They make us look good,” Flowers said of the photographers present. “We need to take care of these people.”

Although the act of goodwill does showcase Brandon & Co’s. aptitude for some good old fashioned #wokeness, however, the band did go ahead to cover The Smiths track This Charming Man, obviously fronted by recently outed victim blamer, Morrisey.
