US hip-hop crew BROCKHAMPTON are gearing up to release their new album tomorrow, and to celebrate, they’ll be bringing their new documentary film to Sydney next week.

Over the last year, BROCKHAMPTON have asserted themselves as one of the biggest names in hip-hop. With their tune ‘SWEET” reaching #11 in the Hottest 100 this year, and their fourth album in 15 months dropping tomorrow, they’re a pretty big deal.

Just last week, the group announced that they’re set to release a new documentary titled The Longest Summer in America. Chronicling their meteoric rise, their life on the road, and all the highs and and lows in between, the documentary is seeing its global release today.

However, ahead of their debut Aussie performances this weekend, the group have announced a screening of the documentary in Sydney next week.

Taking place at Event Cinemas George St, Sydney on Thursday September 27 at 6pm, the Aussie premiere of The Longest Summer in America will slot in between the group’s Sydney headline slot, and their spot at the NSW leg of Listen Out.

Tickets to the event are free, and are available from this link, with a small number of tickets available on the door. Heads-up though, this is a pretty special affair, so no mobile phones, cameras or recording devices will be allowed at the screening, and if security see you snapping pics, you’ll be kicked out.

BROCKHAMPTON hit up Melbourne this week, before travelling to Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane as part of the Listen Out festival. Don’t miss out on seeing one of the most intriguing groups in hip-hop performing live, and don’t miss out on a chance to see their doco on the big screen next week.

BROCKHAMPTON’s fourth album, IRIDESCENCE, is out Friday, September 21st.
