They’re one of the quintessential rock bands, and now US musical legends Cheap Trick are set to head to Australia later this year for a series of east coast headline shows.

Three years on from the group’s last visit to Australia, the band are getting ready to hit up Australia this October for a three-date headline tour which will see them visit Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Of course, our South Australian friends need not worry this time around, with the band playing an already-announced support slot for Foreigner the day before these headline shows kick off.

Since the band were last here for a series of A Day On The Green performances in 2015, they’ve released three albums, including Bang, Zoom, Crazy… HelloWe’re All Alright!, and 2017’s Christmas Christmas, bringing their total count of albums up to a staggering 19. Who knows what’ll happen before they make it to Australia?

Tickets to these shows go on sale 10am local time on Thursday, May 17th.
