Following the massive response to their tour announcement last week which saw promoters shift 155,000 tickets in under three hours, Cold Chisel have announced that they are putting on an extra three shows in Adelaide (Monday, 5 December), Melbourne (Friday, 9 December) and Brisbane (Tuesday, 13 December). These shows went on sale at Midday yesterday and are expected to sell out just as quickly, with over 200,000 tickets for the tour now sold.
The band’s press release assures fans that they are aware that those in “Perth, Canberra, Newcastle and Wollongong are also desperate for more shows and they are trying to squeeze in as many as possible without compromising the quality of their performance or production in any way. It’s a logistical dilemma!” See below for details of the few shows with remaining tickets.
