For the last few years, Victorians have been lucky enough to have an annual series of summer concerts right by their doorstep. With The Gasometer Hotel’s Collingwood Open Series kicking off proceedings for another year recently, there’s no excuse not to find your way over to one of Melbourne’s most happening suburbs for a night full of awesome local talent.

With acts such as Tijuana Cartel and The Creases recently performing sets to highly eager crowds, it proved that this year’s Collingwood Open Series was getting set to become yet another rousing success.

Considering that bands like The Senegambian Jazz Band, Oscar Key Sung, Golden Vessel, Vaudeville Smash, Baby Blue, and Suss Cunts still on the lineup for some awesome shows over the next few weeks, Melbourne’s Gasometer Hotel is undoubtedly the place to be for lovers of loud and local music.
