Well this one has come out of left field but we’re going to run with it! Two of Australia’s most celebrated songwriters and performers have decided to hit the road together for a unique tour that shows off their song crafting talents. Apparently bumping in to each other on a street in Sydney, and after having a yarn about the important things in life like footy and beer, they decided they should tour together.

Hence, they’re hitting the road to play some very intimate theatre and small venue dates. Of course, if you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years, you wouldn’t know that Dan Sultan is an ARIA winner and shooting star of the music scene, capable of making whole theatres full of women faint at the sight of him, while Alex Gow if the front man for Oh Mercy, who have just finished up a sold out national tour in support of their much lauded new album Great Barrier Grief.
