Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl isn’t just a talented multi-instrumentalist, but a pretty multi-talented guy in general, having most recently given directing a spin with the band’s new music video.

He’s also quite a charming guy, so it’s not a big surprise to hear he’ll be jumping into Jimmy Kimmel’s chair on late night TV tomorrow night, hosting an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, as Consequence of Sound reports.

He’s picked a good night too, with Kristen Bell being joined by the one and only Alice Cooper, who will also perform. Will Grohl jump up and join him? We’d bet on it.

It won’t be the first time Grohl has hosted a program like this, CoS notes, with the singer having previously taken the reins of Chelsea Handler’s Chelsea Lately for a whole week back in 2013.

Hopefully he enjoys the experience a bit more than his time on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden recently, which he described as being pretty uncomfortable and a serious slog to get through as shooting dragged on and on.

Dave will be one of several guests hosts taking over this week, with stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, and Shaquille O’Neal also stepping in to help as Kimmel takes time off from the show to be with his family while his son undergoes surgery for a heart defect that will need ongoing medical attention.

We’re sure he’s left the show in great hands for the week, as long as they don’t give Dave too much coffee on set.
