Bust out the spandex, acid wash denim and hairspray, and to hell with the effect on the ozone layer. Following our news a month ago about the line up leaking, the cat is finally out of the bag and the mega 80s/90s tour of Def Leppard, Heart and The Choirboys is set to hit Aussie shores this October.

Can you believe it’s Heart’s first ever tour of Australia? Showing that women rock just as hard as anyone else, not only did the Wilson sisters (Ann and younger sister Nancy) lead the band, they wrote the songs and played the instruments too, making them the first women in rock to do so. Their swagful of hits include Magic Man, All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You, These Dreams, Barracuda and they have even recorded a cover of John Farnham’s You’re The Voice.

Starting out in Sheffield in the UK in 1977, Def Leppard have sold over 65 million records worldwide. Despite the loss of drummer Rick Allen’s right arm in 1984 and the death of founding guitarist Steve Clark in 1991, the band were unstoppable, with albums Hysteria and Adrenalize topping the charts worldwide and seeing the band strutting their stuff in stadiums across the globe. Meanwhile, The Choirboys have been kicking along for 30 years now and we defy you to not have sung along to hits like ‘Run To Paradise’ or ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ after a few drinks!
