E^ST has seen a pretty meteoric rise over the last couple of years, all culminating in a recent video clip with Daniel Craig – also known as Matsu Photography, the man behind the gorgeous effort below. To give us an idea of the work that goes into making something that pretty, E^ST has sent us some behind-the-scenes pics.

Of course, the young performer also had no trouble wrangling a posse of fans and friends to join her in the video clip for recent single ‘Screentime’, no doubt corralling them into Perth’s Johnny Ma Studios with the eye-catching (and possibly blinding) megaphone you can see below.

The Get Money EP is available now, and having warmed up by touring with Japanese Wallpaper earlier this year, E^ST is about to kick off her national EP tour in November with some great support picks in Alice Ivy and BEL, dates below.

Behind The Scenes Of ‘Screentime’ With E^ST

“‘Screentime’ is a song that’s pretty anti bullshit, and I feel like this video turned out to be the same. We just wanted to create a high energy video with cool visuals, and we also wanted to give it the feeling the song has when I perform it live (hence the megaphone, which I sometimes whip out in my show).

“The filming process was super fun. I asked my friends and fans in WA if they would volunteer their time and come be extras, and so many of them turned up and really threw themselves into it, and were hella professional (even though they weren’t). It was pretty special :’)

“I also loved working with Daniel Craig (aka Matsu Photography). There was just a great atmosphere on set, and I felt really comfortable (which is a hard state for me to reach tbh). And in between shots we listened to hip hop, ate pizza, and talked about our pets. All in all, it was a pretty awesome shoot.”
