Yesterday, the updated Unify Gathering lineup was announced. Following the removal of I Killed The Prom Queen, UNIFY added Every Time I Die, HellionsSaviour and Falcifer to the bill.

Now Falcifer, the latest lineup recruits, have announced a brilliant initiative. The band will donate half of their performance fee to not-for-profit organisation, Girls Rock Melbourne — which Unify will match “dollar for dollar”.

A statement by the band reads:

“We’ve chosen Girls Rock because we firmly believe in the work they are doing surrounding the empowerment of female, non-binary and trans artists but also to acknowledge the hard work and unpaid hours they put in last year with Outright HC at Unify. Ladies, non-binary and trans people we hear your voices and we will use our last breath screaming for change.”

Girls Rock is a non-profit organisation that aims to elevate “young female, trans, and gender diverse people aged 10 – 17 through music and education.”
