Sydney prog-rockers FLOATINGME are set to hit the road this July, which will see them taking to the stage of some of the biggest venues they’ve played yet.

Joining them for three dates of the ten show tour will be Thousand Needles In Red – the new project of The Butterfly Effect’s Clint Boge. FLOATINGME will be making the trek to Perth for the very first time, as well as hitting up a number of regional centres with their incendiary live show.

Even before the tour commences, 2011 has been an extremely busy year for FLOATINGME, who have joined their mates Dead Letter Circus on the road as well as playing their own debut headline tour, in addition to unleashing their self-titled debut album in April. Comprised of members of Scary Mother, COG and Karnivool, the supergroup’s debut has been receiving platitudes from the press and receiving superlatives ranging from eclectic to haunting, visceral to cathartic.
