The rumours are flying thick and fast suggesting that Foo Fighters will be returning to Australia for a tour at the end of November and we can expect a tour announcement imminently. Multiple sources are suggesting that we can expect the band and their new album Wasting Light out here over November and December, probably with The Black Keys and Jack Black’s Tenacious D in tow. After the band played marathon sets in a series of sold out charity fundraisers and VIP shows in Australia in March, they promised to return and a massive buzz around the industry suggests that we can expect an announcement VERY soon. The tour is tipped to kick off in Perth at NIB Stadium on 28th November.

Fans can also expect a massive set list from the rock n’ roll behemoths, with their last shows stretching out to three hours plus. Speaking of the shows at the time, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl said “I can’t imagine playing some hurried, abbreviated one and a half hour set ever again. We’re really raising the bar for the band.”
