With only three months to go until 2018, we’re about to enter the final quarter of the year. Of course, this always leads to one inevitable question; “What are you doing for New Year’s Eve?” Well, you could always head along to the Falls Festival, or you could do something a little sweatier and head to a gig populated by some of the finest punk and rock acts this country has to offer.

Taking to Facebook today, Pool House Records announced that some of Aussie punk’s biggest names, including Frenzal Rhomb and The Bennies, will be taking over Melbourne’s Max Watts for one of the biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations ever.

Described as “the best New Year’s Eve party that ever fucking existed… extreme,” the intense lineup features the aforementioned Frenzal Rhomb and The Bennies, in addition to Hightime, Antonia & The Lazy Susans, Cosmic Kahuna, and a mood-setting set from DJ Snesmega & Dedmedics.

Frenzal Rhomb couldn’t pick a better way to cap off a huge year, which has seen them release their ninth record, Hi-Vis High Tea, and undertake a huge national tour, bringing their back catalogue of classic hits to adoring fans.

Tickets to this brilliant gig are on sale now, so be sure to get in quick, because this one is definitely going to sell out.
