Is there anything Wally De Backer can’t do? The Melbourne wunderkind has announced a national tour which is set to see him backed by a 10 piece orchestra to replicate the amazing sounds of his new album, Making Mirrors. The gigs will see every single note and noise recreated live by Wally on as he contributes vocals, a midi marimba and, naturally, thumps the skins. The remainder of the intricate aural assembly will be recreated by a 3-piece horn section, guitar, keyboards, bass and percussion. The huge assembly of sound is set to be accompanied by visuals from some of Australia’s most promising young artists and will no doubt be a feast for the eyes and ears.

Making Mirrors is set for release on August 19th, and super eager fans can pre-order various album packages that come will all the bells and whistles such as film clips, exclusive documentaries and bonus tracks
