Australia’s biggest musical act, chart topper and Adele slayer Gotye, is set to headline the Peats Ridge Sustainable Arts & Music Festival this New Year’s Eve.

The festival, which runs from 29 December to 01 January, will see Gotye joined by the likes of Xavier Rudd, UK breakbeat act Stanton Warriors, American underground rockers The Dum Dum Girls, Husky, Tijuana Cartel, Sietta, Hanggai Graveyard Train, The Holidays, LTJ Bukem, Salmonella Dub & Hanni El Khatib are amongst the acts set to entertain crwowds that have reached up to 10,000 per day in the past.

Peats Ridge has played host in the past to the likes of Angus & Julia Stone, The Temper Trap, Kate Miller-Heidke, Washington, Cloud Control and more.

In its eighth year as one of only a few camping festivals in New South Wales, it offers a totally immersive experience of music, performing arts and culture. A world leading sustainable event recognised by the United Nations, Peats Ridge also has a dedicated eco-living education program as well as extensive environmental initiatives and awards.

The Festival is also 100 percent family friendly with a dedicated Children’s Festival program for children and their adult friends, alongside family camping facilities.

General tickets go on sale at 10am 12 September 2011 at www.peatsridgefestival.com.au and will set you back $320 for adult season passes.
