Groovin’ The Moo have long made a name for themselves as one of the finest Aussie festivals going around, and now with this year’s festivities set to kick off in just a couple of months, the folks at GTM have taken the opportunity to announce their national community program.

In addition to delivering a stellar musical lineup, which this year sees the likes of Paul Kelly, Alex Lahey, Baker Boy, Ball Park Music, Tkay Maidza, Portugal. The Man, Duke Dumont, Royal Blood, and Claptone on the bill, Groovin The Moo is also a rather special festival which likes to do all they can to involve, and give back to, local Aussie communities.

This year has seen Groovin The Moo team up with a number of local artists, community leaders, barbershops and hairdressing salons, giving punters the opportunity to get involved in a variety of crafts thanks to The Maker Station and the Crafternoon Community Workshops, look their best with the Powder Pen, and help support Australia’s LGBTIQ+ community with the HEAPS GAY Milk Bar

If film is more your thing, Groovin The Moo have also teamed up with Warner Music Australia to bring Shoot The Moo and Film The Moo to festival attendees. With international act Portugal. The Man on board, the Shoot The Moo and Film The Moo comps will see one winner from each region win an awesome prize pack, in addition to scoring some invaluable guidance from media professionals.

Of course, that’s not all though, because Groovin The Moo have also announced their Work Experience program for this year, which will allow high school, tertiary institution and community groups to gain invaluable experience in the festival’s various areas of expertise, and their Ticket Exchange Program, which will work with youths experiencing hardships to give them a day of musical festivities.
