For those looking forward to experiencing the ultra-vulgar, (fake) blood-drenched live show of the self-professed “Interplanetary destroyers of human scum”, Gwar, you might be a little disappointed with this news.

The American-metal act, who were set to make their first appearance down under since 2014 have cancelled all shows set for their upcoming 2018 tour, in support of the 2017 release of The Blood Of Gods, the band’s 14th album.

Tour promoter, DRW Entertainment have confirmed the cancellation, however, neither them or GWAR have revealed a reason behind the cancellation.

The events have since been pulled from Facebook and refunds will be automatically processed through Ticketek.
