Seminal hard rocking American legends Helmet have announced a welcome return to Australian shores, with dates around our wide brown land in June and July for their first sojourn down under in three years. The band are touring their new album Seeing Eye Dog, which front man Page Hamilton self produced and sees the band continuing their take no prisoners approach to their unique style of rock.

The band ripped up stages on their last tour and are promising to take it even further on this run around the country. Hamilton says “It’s so important to have great musicians in this band….I can’t stand the sound and anti-human feel of edited rock music. People have always commented that we sound like our albums live. This has a lot to do with it. Humans playing music will always be better than chop shop rock so one has to find the right players.”
