The Smith Street Band are undeniably one of Australia’s most beloved acts, striking to the heart of the human condition with their punk-poet tales of love, life and of course, Melbourne.

While the band are heading out on their huge headline tour in March (as well as their epic inaugural Pool House Party), that doesn’t seem to be quite enough gigging for their legendary frontman Wil Wagner.

Wagner, the spearhead behind the Smithies heart-string tugging lyrics has garnered a rep for his solid solo career and now, wants to bring it to your living room.

“Want me to come play at your house? I’ll be free to do a bunch of these shows after our Australian tour is done,” he wrote on Facebook. Fans have the chance to host Wil by applying through the Palour platform – a platform that acts as an “Air BnB” style site for live music.

Applications are set to come in thick and fast so if you’d like to hear the soul-crushing-yet-equally-up-lifting tunes of the Aussie-punk-poet in your living room, get in quick!
