In case you missed it, yesterday Eminem surprise released a new album Kamikaze. On the track “Fall” the artist references Hopsin in a list of artists who he has inspired. Hopsin has since chucked a reaction video online and it’s equal parts insane and heartwarming.
The video, which you can see below, shows the Californian rapper in his trademark white contact lenses absolutely losing his shit when the real Slim Shady mentions his name. The video ends with him literally saying “Oh shit, I gotta call my mum!”, which everyone knows is the most wholesome thing anyone can ever say.
The artist who once racked up a $6000 phone bill after giving fans his personal number also said the mention gave him the inspiration to get started on new music. Hopsin’s last album was 2017’s No Shame which includes “Hotel In Sydney” – the intro is well worth a listen.
